OBOR’s Stars Of The Future, International Chinese Speech Contest

KUALA LUMPUR (October 2017): This blog posting is a flashback of one of the many trans-border customs and cultural activities initiated by the Malaysia-China Silk Road Business Chamber.

Chamber president (Tan Sri) Ong Tee Keat led the initiative to forge closer cultural ties between Malaysia and China.

Ong told I Love Malaysia-China Silk Road that promoting trans-border business and economic ties between Malaysian and Chinese investors “is not our only focus”.

“The importance of raising a higher level of understanding of the customs and cultures of nations cannot be underestimated,” he added.


He said a better understanding of socio-economic issues would certainly and naturally enhance cooperation between nations in all fields for mutual benefits.
